How To Use A Scabbler

EDCO Scabblers are easy to use. The operator moves the scabbler back and forth using a side to side motion over the surface until the concrete is roughened or removed. A scabbler is the ideal machine for roughening surfaces for new overlays, creating wheelchair access ramps, creating non-slip surfaces and removing loose or deteriorating concrete.

Scabbler accessories include 5-Point and 9-Point Tungsten Carbide Bits. These scabbler bits pound the concrete surface by delivering 1,200 hits per minute. The 5-Point bit leaves a rough textured surface while the 9-Point bits leaves a medium textured surface.
